Welcome to Generations Community Support Services (Generations CSS) website. We are a state approved Rule 29 mental health clinic located in Minneapolis and St. Paul.  We use a variety of techniques to help our clients including: Cognitive Behavioral Interventions, Narrative, Play Therapy, Solution Focused, Grief and Family Systems. We work with clients struggling with a multitude of issues ( i.e. depression, bi-polar, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, ADHD, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD),  history of physical and sexual abuse) with a strength based problem solving approach.  We work with all generations of clients including grandparents, adults, teenagers and children.

Generations is well known within our communities. We strive to honor diversity and make every attempt to match clients with staff in order to promote positive growth. We are active in many associations including the Minnesota Social Service Association, Minnesota Council of Child Caring Agencies, African American Psychology Association and many others.  Many of our staff serve as Board of Directors in these associations or are involved on a committee for the various associations. We are also active members in the National Night Out in South Minneapolis (the largest in the state) which is centralized on our property. We are proud to have so many staff who are leaders in our field and in the community.
